The fine art of fiber wall sculptures & tapestries by Wendy Carpenter are handwoven in an impressionist art style through personal borderline abstract-literal interpretations. Carpenter's fiber art wall hangings capture the emotion and power of nature by abstracting the natural world.

"I work with the indigenous Mayan weavers of Guatemala teaching them how to design and sew contemporary jackets with their handwoven fabric. 
This collaborative work is part of my "Creating Revenue through the Arts" fair trade mission project. 
My ikat jacket is hand-sewn with two side pockets and prewashed and heat dried.  Size large available only."
