Jadeite Teared Lilac Necklace | Door County Jewelry by Wendy Carpenter
Exclusive gifts in Door County, soulful pieces, perfect for every occasion.
Wendy Carpenter's fair trade/skill-building project helps the indigenous communities of Guatemala sustain their traditional heritage and acquire new skills! To the Pre-Columbian people of Mesoamerica, jadeite represented breath, life, fertility, and power.
The featured jadeite necklace is created in her mission project, and the proceeds directly support the artisans of Guatemala! The 4-strand lilac jadeite necklace is 24" long with 18 hand-cut & polished faucet beads. It is teared with an Italian leather cord sterling silver clasp.
Each piece has it's own difficulty, our mission is to dive through the process with you. Starting from the conceptualization until we see the piece hanged in your wall.
