The fine art of fiber wall sculptures and hangings by Wendy Carpenter reveals her personal expressionism style through borderline "abstract-literal" interpretations.
The waterfall sculpture hanging derives from an exhibit entitled “17 Artists and 1 Silver Maple Tree.” All of the exhibiting artists met at the tree cutting site and chose a section of the tree to create a piece of artwork!
Waterfall sculpture is 11’ long, 2’ wide and extends 2’ out from the wall. It is supported on steel rods and designed to mount flat or in a corner. It is an inlay threading hand woven with dyed cotton mop cord and wool yarn. A fiber art wall sculpture that captures the emotion and power of objects through abstracting the natural world.
